Fireworks

Now that my camera settings are more or less back to normal, I thought I'd try fireworks again. here's what I got.

Experiementing with photos

I had a great time with the girls the other night. It was our last girl scout meeting of the year. I wanted to get some cute, different, fun pix. They thought I lost my mind (which may possibly be true). Anyway, here's some photos that shouldn't give away any identities!

This was a semi self portrait last year. The girls and I went to watch the Memorial Day Fireworks. We took this while we were sitting on the hood of my car, freezing our butts off, waiting for the show.

Playing with Color

Han actually took this photo (semi under protest) but I did the color thingy. It turned out kind of cool, I think.

The Mansion

I have wanted to take a photo of this house for about 15 years. Seriously, 15. I used to drive by it on my way to school (College) and I was always staring at it. It's near a curve so it's a good thing I never had an accident. Anyway, the other day I was driving by and had my camera with me so I pulled over to the side of the road to snap this.

I don't know what it is about this house that grabbed my attention. It could be because there are no other houses nearby. Anyway, this house was the first vision I had for Derek's House. Who's Derek? Derek Alexander, from A Soft Impeachment . He ultimately ended up "living" in a different house, but this is where it started.

Old Building

It only took me about 3 weeks to get this. I kept seeing it, but didn't have my camera with me. The recently tore down a building and this is what was revealed.
