Playing with Color

Han actually took this photo (semi under protest) but I did the color thingy. It turned out kind of cool, I think.

The Mansion

I have wanted to take a photo of this house for about 15 years. Seriously, 15. I used to drive by it on my way to school (College) and I was always staring at it. It's near a curve so it's a good thing I never had an accident. Anyway, the other day I was driving by and had my camera with me so I pulled over to the side of the road to snap this.

I don't know what it is about this house that grabbed my attention. It could be because there are no other houses nearby. Anyway, this house was the first vision I had for Derek's House. Who's Derek? Derek Alexander, from A Soft Impeachment . He ultimately ended up "living" in a different house, but this is where it started.

Old Building

It only took me about 3 weeks to get this. I kept seeing it, but didn't have my camera with me. The recently tore down a building and this is what was revealed.

Beckman Mill

I've posted this one before on my other blog, but thought that it was a nice one to share here as well. Neither of them knew I took the photo, and I think that adds to the relaxed element.

Welcome to Amy's Photo Booth

One of my "hobbies" has always been taking pictures. Not always great pix, but I still like to document things. I think the first pictures I actually took myself were in July of 1982 at a Rick Springfield concert. If I can find them and upoad them, I will share them with you.

But today, I'm sharing other photos.

*This is Lyric at a Girl Scout/city function. It was early in the morning (7:45) and she was very tired. I kept trying to get her to smile, but she wouldn't. Finally I said "Look, there's Kevin Jonas" and this is the response I got.

(FYI- She says she is marrying Kevin Jonas.)

*These next photos were taken last weekend. It is cousin, Jazz and Lyric. They are posing for their band photo. Jazz wants an 8 x 10 to put up on the wall.

Soon I will have a snazzier template but for now this works. I would love to say that there will be daily photos but we all know that is not realistic. So, I will say there will be weekly photos and sometimes even more than one photo per day.
